Panasonic launches Nymbus: the ultimate solution for EV charging service in India

Panasonic on 15’May’19 announced the launch of its charging station Nymbus in India. Panasonic partnered with e-mobility service providers SmartE and qQuick for its one of a kind charging solution.

Nymbus has combined all the following physical components in one EV charging solution:

  • charging stations,
  • swap stations,
  • onboard charges,
  • telematics systems along with virtual components like cloud service, analytics, intuitive dashboard, and artificial intelligence.

Panasonic will offer Nymbus on 150 SmartE electric three-wheelers and 25 qQuick electric two-wheelers in the Delhi NCR region. The company aims to expand the offerings to Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai and Amaravati in the next three years, and 25 more cities in the next five years.

The app and cloud services are built in order to provide the e-rickshaw owner the facility to search for nearest charging station and stay updated all the time.

Nymbus, is a unique technology platform by Panasonic India’s concentrated R&D efforts, designed and developed to cater to the growing mobility market in India.
